cleans out biofilms to prevent recolonization of bacteria. Fast rinse out and short contact
times as low as 20 minutes will save system down time and labor.
Hyo 200 Sterilant Solution is compatible with most RO and/or Dl system components
and does not cause any long-term wear on the system’s materials of construction. (Note:
STERILUS Sterilant Solution may have an adverse effect on some metals such as
aluminium, brass and copper. These components are typically not found in RO and/or Dl
water systems.)
Hyo 200 Sterilant Solution is safe for disposal and with minimal protective equipment
(gloves, apron and eye protection are strongly recommended) is safe to handle with no
exposure to toxic vapours.
Hyo 200 Sterilant Solution completely rinses out of the RO and/or Dl system leaving no
residual contaminants behind. Hyo 200 Sterilant Solution also breaks down naturally to
acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, which are very soluble in water. During the rinse
phase, if you restart your UV sterilizers, you will produce a small amount of ozone that
further cleans the piping system
